Under many different names E-commerce has been around since the early 90s, but people want something that is easy to use, navigate, and user friendly. When the idea of online shopping was introduced most people were un-familiar with the Internet but now online shopping is very famous & people have a certain level of expectation when they visit at your site.
The following 5 tips will help you get better sales from your e-commerce site:
1) Local search
Local search not only will make easier for your customers to find your products, but if all of these searches are logged, you can get ideas for better products or services.
2) Use breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs help a visitor to find out how deep they are within your site structure and make it easy to get back to where they were. They also help in improving related search-engine keywords.
3) Check your “add to cart” button is easily readable
Check your “add to cart” button is easily readable if these buttons are not visible to your users, you will have a difficult time getting them to purchase your services. The smallest changes in color, font or text can increase conversions and sales.
4) Show the price of the product, shipping, and taxes clearly before the user has to pay
Every Customer wants to see how much they are spending and what would be the total after each item is added to a cart. People looking for a deal have own budget and they will compare your prices with your competitors.
5) Make it easy to remove cart items
Make this easier by putting a remove button. Remember, don’t make the mistake of only providing a way to decrease the quantity.
